Introduction

This Cancellation & Refunds Policy governs all transactions made through KARDO App, a mobile application that enables users to book badminton coaching sessions, organize tournaments, host games, and reserve venues.

By using the App and its services, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. General Policy

We aim to provide flexibility while balancing fairness to service providers (coaches, venues, organizers). This policy is structured to clearly define cancellation windows, refund eligibility, and conditions.

2. Cancellation Terms

a. Coaching Sessions:
– Users may cancel coaching sessions up to 12 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund.
– Cancellations made within 12 hours are non-refundable, unless the coach fails to appear.

b. Venue Bookings:
– Venues can be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
– Cancellations between 24–6 hours before the scheduled slot may incur a 25% cancellation fee.
– Cancellations within 6 hours or no-shows are non-refundable.

c. Game Hosting / Match Scheduling:
– Hosting fees are non-refundable once the game is confirmed.
– Participants who cancel after joining a hosted game may forfeit their fee.

d. Tournaments:
– Tournament entry fees are refundable only if:
– The user cancels at least 48 hours before the tournament start date.
– The tournament is cancelled or rescheduled by the organizer.
– No refunds will be issued for late withdrawals, disqualifications, or failure to appear.

3. Refund Processing

– Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
– In case of technical failures or double charges, users must raise a refund request within 3 days of the transaction.
– Service charges or payment gateway fees are non-refundable, unless due to an error from KARDO App.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
– Late arrivals or no-shows by the user;
– Violation of the Code of Conduct or Terms of Use;
– User-initiated cancellation after service delivery has started;
– Situations beyond the app’s control (weather, traffic, etc.);
– Bookings made using promotional offers or discount codes unless otherwise specified.

5. User-Initiated Disputes

If you believe you are eligible for a refund that was denied, you may:
– Contact support via the app within 3 days of the event;
– Provide evidence (screenshots, communication, etc.) to help resolve the issue;
– Escalate the complaint to KARDO App support for a manual review.

6. Exceptions

We reserve the right to offer partial or full refunds on a case-by-case basis, especially in circumstances involving:
– Verified coach or venue non-availability;
– Platform errors or booking system failures;
– Proven service disruptions beyond user control.

7. Legal Compliance

This policy is governed by:
– The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
– The Information Technology Act, 2000
– Guidelines from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India

Users may pursue further redress through consumer forums as per the applicable Indian law.
